Let Me Bee is the story of a boy whose fear of bees is so strong that he's afraid to even go outside. The fear is explored in a dialogue between the boy, his mother and an understanding honeybee. He cries, "You don't know how I feel when I see a bee and it seems like they always come straight after me!" But the bee responds, "I'm no wasp or hornet, I'm a sweet honeybee. I don't think you're seeing the actual me." Mom helps our little boy understand that there are many places to learn about bees. Together, mom and bee help this child overcome his fear and learn to enjoy the natural world.
